Abstract
A test method should be elaborated which allows the evaluation of the remaining adsorption capacity in a full scale adsorber. The method should be carried out in a batch experiment with loaded carbon of the full scale plant. By monitoring the decreasing adsorption capacity during the operation of the adsorbers and the commitment of a minimum capacity for a defined substance the replacement of the GAC can be determined.
